Your internet connection is a key issue in live streaming. Therefore we recommend using a wired Ethernet connection - preferably a dedicated line. Ensure that your broadcast bitrate matches your connection bitrate. Meaning, the bitrate you choose in your encoder to livestream your event can´t be higher than your internet upstream connection. Since LiveArena is a smooth streaming service (you can stream multiple streams), you need to add up all streams you´ve chosen and make sure they do not increase your upstream bitrate connection.

LiveArena recommends using a dedicated Ethernet connection of at least 2 mbit/s - upstream. You can of course try streaming with less connection capacity and/or use 3G/4G, WiFi or shared network.
