Camera

Producing your event you need a camera to get the live feed. You need to check that the Camera output adapts to the input on your Computer/Encoding hardware. Common options of output types on your camera:

HDMI

Most common with older cameras. Also more common on older laptops/computers. Using Firewire you don’t need a video capture card. But cameras and computers with Firewire output/input connection might be hard to find.

Firewire (IE1394)

Most common with older cameras. Also more common on older laptops/computers. Using Forewire you don’t need a video capture card. But cameras and computers with Firewire output/input connection might be hard to find.

SDI

Most common with professional cameras. You will need a video capture card in your computer, where you plug in your SDI cable from the camera to enable playback. We recommend using Black Magic DeckLink Studio Card.
